Edible Cookie Dough
I’ve always found it SOOO hard to resist the cookie dough left over after baking cookies. I wanted to eat it so badly, but because there’s eggs it’s not safe. This is an easy and quick recipe to make cookie dough you can eat as much as you want without getting sick!!

There are so many different variations you can make with cookie dough. This recipe will show the classic chocolate chip cookie dough. But if you’re interested in some other types if you get bored of the same chocolate chip cookie dough, here are some different things you can add to make your cookie dough even better!! These are perfect for kids who want to eat the raw batter but shouldn’t due to the raw eggs. Kids will love these variations with all the colors! Follow the basic recipe first and then look book at this to see the changes needed.
Peanut Butter Cup:
- Add melted peanut butter, or almond butter, to the wet ingredients
- Toss in dry ingredients, as usual
- Add in chopped up peanut butter cups when you would add chocolate chips
Unicorn Sugar:
- No brown sugar added with wet ingredients. Instead add an additional 2 tbsps white sugar(total of 5 tbsps white sugar)
- Separate batter into 3 cups
- Use gel food coloring to make different colored cookie dough
- Swirl all together
- Add in sprinkles
- Don’t mix too much to get a marble effect
Nutella S’mores:
- 3 tbsps of nutella to wet ingredient base (you can reduce sugar amount since nutella already has a lot of sugar)
- Add in the dry ingredients with mini marshmallows and chopped up graham crackers.
Funfetti Birthday Cake
- Chop up some birthday cake oreos
- Mix into cookie dough along with colorful sprinkles

Ingredients
- ¼ cup butter 1/2 stick (softened)
- 3 tbsps brown sugar
- 3 tbsps white sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1/2 cup flour heat-treated
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- ⅛ tsp salt
- chocolate chips
Instructions
- Put the flour in the microwave for safety for about 30 sec. Mix in the baking soda and salt.
- In a separate bowl, add the softened butter, sugars, vanilla extract, and milk.
- Mix until combined.
- Add in the dry ingredients. When mixing in the flour mixture, add in some chocolate chips until desired.
