Banana Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 stick unsalted butter room temperature
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt

  • stand mixer, hand mixer

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, cover loaf pan with non-stick spray
  2. Cream the butter and sugar together in a large bowl
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients(flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt)
  5. In another bowl, mash the bananas and add cinnamon and milk
  6. Add the banana mixture to the butter and sugar mixture
  7. Stir until combines, then add in dry ingredients
  8. (OPTIONAL) add in chocolate chips, and stir by hand
  9. Pour batter into pan and bake for 1 hour
  10. Test with a toothpick to see if it’s ready(good if toothpick comes out clean)
  11. Set aside to cool
  12. Cut into slices and serve with ice cream
