There’s so many different ingredients you can use to make your smoothies to your enjoyment. For example, some like to use frozen fruit because of the coolness it brings to the smoothie. It can be very refreshing, almost like a milkshake. Others like to use almond milk over regular milk because of the taste or health benefits. It’s up to YOU how you want to modify to make your smoothie tasty and/or healthy!!


Mango Smoothie(top R):

*these measurements are all approximate, you can adjust to your taste

  • 2 mangoes
  • 1/2 a banana
  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • ice
  • 1 scoop protein powder(optional)

Blueberry Smoothie(top L):

  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 a banana
  • handful of spinach
  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • ice
  • 1 scoop protein powder(optional)

Mixed Berry Smoothie(bottom R):

  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • ice
  • 1 scoop protein powder(optional)

Green Smoothie(bottom L):

  • 1 pear
  • 1 cup kale
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1/2 cup a cucumber
  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • ice
  • 1 scoop protein powder(optional)

Additional ingredients to make your smoothie even healthier:

  • Chia seeds: High in protein, antioxidants, omega-3, fiber, magnesium and potassium
  • Almond milk: High in antioxidants and vitamin E.  Can help lower  harmful cholesterol
  • Oats: High in soluble fiber, iron, antioxidants.  Also great for lowering cholesterol and low in fat
  • Almond butter/ Peanut butter: great source of vitamin E, magnesium, copper, vitamin B2, and phosphorous. It is a great source of monounsaturated fat, protein, and fiber which are essential for heart health
  • Ginger: High in anti-inflammatory properties.  Aids with nausea and upset stomach.  Can be used fresh or in powder form
  • Turmeric: High in anti-inflammatory properties.  Also, increases antioxidant capacity of your body.  Can be used fresh or in powder form
